Message I am not sure what the big concern is here broken studs is a very common issue. Now if you are doing this at home this maybe the cause of your problem. You can try using PB blaster on the stud that is only partially broken a few times letting it really soak in a few times. At a shop a few things could be tried like a welding a nut to the stud or heating up the stud to break it loose.

On the other stud use a right angle drill and a bolt remover worst case you may have to drill it all out and then retap it.

All this can be done at home but if you have doubts take it to a shop to do it.
